7.3 adds label tags for finding and organising your labels, and a rebuilt Plan & Billing page where subscribers change their plan, pause and cancel for themselves.
✨ New Features & User-Facing Changes
- Label tags — categorise labels with tags such as Retail, Dairy or Export, give each a colour, and filter the Label Manager by one or more tags. A label can have up to 5 tags, and tags are shared across the whole organisation. Everyone can filter by tags; creating, renaming, colouring, deleting and assigning tags is for Admins, Designers and the Subscriber. (#1858, #1947)
- Tags travel with exported and imported labels — exports now include each label’s tags, and the Import Labels dialog has an optional Tags box that adds a tag to every imported label. Tags stored in the file are applied too, and the dialog tells you which tags were created, reused or left off because of the 5-tag limit. Files exported before 7.3 still import as before. (#1947)
- Plan & Billing, rebuilt — Settings → Organisation → Plan & Billing shows your plan, subscription status, payment method and latest invoices in one place. (#1915, #1936)
- Change your plan and expansion packs yourself — switch between monthly and annual and add or remove expansion packs without contacting support. Increases apply straight away with the prorated difference charged to your card, and decreases are booked for your next billing date. (#1882, #1923)
- Cancel without contacting support — your subscription simply doesn’t renew, and you keep full access to the end of the period you have paid for. You can keep your subscription until then. (#1881, #1941)
- Pause a monthly subscription for 1 to 3 months — you aren’t billed while it runs, and you can pause once in any 12 months. (#1883)
- Update your card yourself — Update payment details opens the Stripe customer portal. barxui never stores your card details. (#1613)
- Read-only when a subscription ends — when a subscription has ended, a pause is running, or a payment is overdue past its grace period, the organisation becomes read-only: you can still view and export everything, but not change, delete or print. Choosing a plan restores full access. (#1914)
- Your organisation’s details flow to Stripe — the name, email, phone and address under Settings → Organisation → Details are sent to your Stripe customer record, so invoices and receipts show the right business. Organisations billed by invoice are never sent to Stripe. (#1912, #1954)
🛠️ Platform Improvements
- Buttons look and behave the same everywhere in the app. (#1931)
- Plan cards line their Select button and Selected badge up at the bottom right, and the order summary states the billing interval you chose. (#1933, #1932)
- Help popups (the ? icons) are switched on in the live app and point at the new help site. (#1758)
- The Edit details button on Plan & Billing always takes you to the Details tab. (#1935)
- Security: the scheduled job that expires trials only accepts signed requests, a webhook error response no longer reveals the signing key, and a Google Fonts API key was removed from the source repository. (#1916, #1917, #1953)

🐛 Bug Fixes
- Invoice amounts were shown rounded down to whole dollars. (#1939)
- Selecting the annual plan failed when the plan’s expansion pack was missing from configuration. (#1927)
- The coupon box and Apply button were misaligned on the order summary, and the payment dialog had no space under the plan summary. (#1929, #1930)
- Dialogs showed a horizontal scroll bar after help icons were added to their titles. (#1928)
- Confirmation and password reset links failed for email addresses containing a +. (#1925)
- Signing in briefly flashed “You’re already signed in” before taking you home. (#1948)

7.2 is a reliability and security-focused release: it fixes a crash and data-corruption issue when resizing lines in the Designer, keeps the rulers in view while scrolling a large label, closes a cross-organisation mix-up when signing in across browser tabs, and includes a range of behind-the-scenes security hardening.
